Your next customer won’t visit your site. Their agent will.

People now ask AI to research, compare and buy. Agents skip the sites they can’t read. Kennen shows you what to fix, from search basics to agent readiness.

When your spot opens, your site’s first findings are waiting for you.

We’ll email you to confirm, and again when your spot opens.

Seen from the pavement: a small robot carries an orange basket into a shop, two more robots already inside, a crane and the city behind.

Shoppers already ask AI before they buy.

  • 42% of US consumers have used an AI assistant to shop online, up 4 points since March. Adobe, August 2026
  • 60% higher conversion from shoppers an AI sent than from other traffic. A year earlier, other traffic still converted better. Adobe, August 2026
  • 8% of Google searches with an AI summary led to a click on a result, against 15% without one. Pew Research Center, July 2025
  • 7,851% growth in a year of traffic from AI agents, from a small base. 77% of it was on product and search pages. HUMAN Security, March 2026

Agents skip the sites they can’t use. They don’t tell you.

For twenty years, websites were built for people and for Google. People scroll, click around and forgive a slow page. Agents don’t. They fetch your pages, read what’s in them, compare you with others and act, or move on to a business they can work with.

When an agent can’t read your site, it answers anyway, with someone else’s facts. Your analytics never show the visit that didn’t happen.

  • Locked out

robots.txt or a firewall turns away the assistant your customer just asked.

  • Nothing to read

Prices and stock only appear after JavaScript runs, and most AI crawlers don’t run it.

    Source: Vercel, December 2024
  • Not understood

Titles, headings and page facts that don’t say what you sell, so an agent can’t match you to what your customer asked.

  • Can’t act

A form or checkout an agent can’t finish, so it books or buys elsewhere.

One foundation for search, answers and agents.

Search engines, answer engines and agents read the same pages. Get the basics right and people find you today. Build agent readiness on top and agents choose you tomorrow. Kennen checks all three.

  1. Agents Muse, Alexa for Shopping, Claude Can they act for your customer: compare, book, buy?
  2. Answer engines ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Overviews Do they quote your facts, or someone else’s?
  3. Search fundamentals Google, Bing Can your pages be found, let in, read and understood?

See your site the way engines and agents do, page by page, with what to fix first.

How to fix

Remove the rules that block Claude-User, or narrow them to the paths you mean to keep out. If the block is intended, choose Ignore.

Fixed when robots.txt lets Claude-User fetch the pages it blocked.

Your agents can use it too. Claude Code, Codex or your own agent can read what to fix, change your code and ask Kennen to check again.

Step: Are they allowed in?
Scope: Whole site

What happens: Anthropic won’t fetch these pages when someone asks their assistant to read them.

New agents arrive every month. Kennen keeps up so you don’t have to.

A new shopping agent, a new bot to allow, a new standard everyone says you need. Most of it doesn’t matter for your site, and some of it matters a lot. Kennen follows the changes, checks your site again when they land, and tells you which ones are worth your time.

  • New agents

Is the agent your customers just started using allowed in, and can it read you?

  • New standards

Agent payments, MCP and what comes next: whether your site needs it yet, and what it takes.

  • Your own changes

A redesign or a new plugin that quietly locks agents out gets caught.

Questions

What does agent-ready mean?

An agent can find your site, is allowed in, can read and understand what you offer, and can act on it, like booking or buying, without a person stepping in.

Is this just SEO with a new name?

No, but it starts there. Agents read the same pages search engines do, so the fundamentals come first. Readiness adds what agents need on top.

Isn’t it too early?

Agents are a small share of visits today and growing fast. The fixes are cheap now, and the same ones help your search and AI answers today.

Do I need to build an API?

Not to start. Most of what agents need is in your pages. Kennen tells you when an API or an agent standard would make the difference.
